Butter Fried Chicken

Butter Fried Chicken

My mother used to cook chicken only on Sundays. Why? I really don’t know. We did not eat often chicken, even though we had chickens and plenty of range free eggs. Anyways here is Moms version of her butter braised chicken. My favorite part of the chicken always has been the wings, breast and thigh. In this recipe I used wings.

Ingredients
  • Any part of the chicken.
  • Curry
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Butter 1 stick (8 tbsp)

Instructions
  1. Season the chicken well with pepper, salt and curry. Heat the skillet and add 1 stick of butter. Wait till the butter starts to brown, then add the chicken parts of your choice. I used wings and drumettes. It took me about 8 minutes on each side on medium high. Do not cover the skillet otherwise the chicken will become soft. Simple and easy to cook.
