You know how it is sometimes you make too much bread. One of the things you can do with it is make "Wentelteefjes'. Cut thick slices of bread( if you don't have home made bread, get the Texas toast). Some people will cut the crust off, I don't.
Put the milk, in a bowl and add 1 egg, cinnamon and sugar. Optional you can add vanilla. Whisk well. Let the bread soak for a few minutes. Then add butter to your skillet and fry the bread on both sides. You can top it with for example with sugar, syrup and fruit of your choice.
