The name Sliders originated in the 1940’s, when sailors in the U.S. Navy would refer to mini-burgers as “sliders” because of their extreme greasiness. In just one or two bites, the burger would just slide right down! The slider was first created at White Castle, a popular American fast food chain restaurant. Since then all kind of sliders has been created.

Materials
Ingredients:
1package Hawaiian sweet rolls
Marinara sauce
Shredded mozzarella cheese
pepperoni slices

For the herb butter topping:
1/2cupbuttermelted (1 stick)
1tbspgrated Parmesan cheese
1tspgarlic salt
1tsponion powder
1tbspdried oregano
1/4tspcrushed red pepperoptional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Cut the rolls horizontally. Place the bottom on the silpad. Spread the marinara sauce onto the rolls. Add Italian seasoning if you like. Next, add the shredded cheese. On top of the cheese layer add the slices of pepperoni. Don’t be stingy ! Add the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the pepperoni.
Now make the seasoned buttery topping. Combine all the ingredients and let it the butter melt. Use a brush or a spoon and spread the topping all over the sliders. Cover with foil and bake for about 25 minutes.
