There are a few things I like at Longhorn Steak House. And one of them is this Hawaiian Rib eye Steak. if you like sweetness do add the brown sugar. If that is too sweet for you leave the brown sugar out.
  • 2 ribeyes
  • Mrs. Dash onion and herb seasoning
  • Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • Olive oil
  • 1 fresh pineapple, cored and sliced into rounds
  • ½ cup thickened teriyaki sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp of crushed ginger
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, crushed ginger and minced garlic. Set aside a small portion of the marinade for basting the pineapples and steaks during grilling.
  2. Marinade the rib-eyes steaks for 4 hours prior to grilling for maximum flavor.
  3. Heat up the grill and clean. Get a paper towel and saturate with olive oil, rub on your grill and heat to 450 degrees. If inside using a griddle, heat to medium-high.
  4. Baste pineapple slices with marinade.Grill pineapple rounds for about 1 minute on each side, until char marks form, then set aside.
  5. Season both sides of the rib-eyes generously with Montreal Steak seasoning and Mrs. Dash Onion and herb seasoning. Place rib-eyes on the grill, and cook for approx. 3-4 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Brush with more marinade while grilling.Once rib-eye is grilled to your liking, remove from the grill.Plate the rib eye, and top with two pineapple rounds.
