CopyCat Tahoe Cookies
Have you ever had those Pepperidge Farm Tahoe Cookies? They’re seriously addictive. But man, they’re pricey – like $4.00 for just 8 cookies! So, what do you do? Make your own, my friend. It’s surprisingly easy, and you end up with a whole bunch of them.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup white chocolate baking chips
- 1 cup macadamia nuts
- Parchment Paper
Preparation:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place Parchment paper on the baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar with a mixer on medium speed until it’s light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until everything’s well combined.
- Reduce the mixer speed to low and slowly beat in the flour mixture until it’s just blended.
- Grab a wooden spoon and stir in those tempting white chocolate baking chips and the irresistible macadamia nuts.
- Drop the dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper-lined cookie sheets, making sure to space them about 2 inches apart.
- Pop them into the preheated oven and bake until they’re golden around the edges, usually about 10 to 12 minutes.
- Once they’re baked to perfection, use a wide spatula to transfer those beauties to wire racks to cool completely.

A wonderful recipe. I left
The macadamia nuts out, because I don’t particularly care for those. Will make them again.
Glad you liked it. Enjoy the cookies.
