Can the egg be substituted with something else? I just ran out and I dont see myself running out for eggs only. Any suggestions for something common already in the cabinet or fridge? Any big difference with the outcome if no egg or substitute? Cant wait to try this! Thanks in advance
    • If you don't have an egg I don't think it's going to hurt not to add the egg. The batter may not stick the way it should. Or if you happen to have buttermilk use that instead of the milk and egg.
  5. I'm the executive chef at Millstone Foods, LLC in West Palm Beach, Florida. Previously I was an executive private chef in some of the amazing private residential homes in Florida. Another words I was a full time chef for rich folks with a lot of money. I've never mastered crispy chicken like the ones you get at KFC. Although I hate KFC food, this recipe makes it like them with a lot of crisp on the chicken. I also never leave feedback, but this recipe using our Gluten Free Flour went beyond what we were expecting. Truly the best fried chicken recipe I've ever come across in the 12 years I've been cooking professionally and this deserves all the credit and then some.

Thank you so much for posting this!! I just made it for dinner and it was AMAZING. I expected it to be pretty good, but I didn't expect it to be SO close to the chili's version. It's the exact same thing! Sooo delicious.
